Electro-Caps are an EEG electrode application technique. They are made of an elastic spandex-type fabric with recessed, pure tin electrodes attached to the fabric.
The electrodes on the standard caps are positioned to the International 10-20 method of electrode placement.
The medium Electro-Cap will fit approximately 65% of all patients over the age of 5.
The small cap will fit primarily children from the ages of 2 to 5 years. The extra small cap will fit most children from 9 months to 2 years of age.
Sizes in age are approximate; the patient should always be measured to determine proper cap size. See Special Head Measuring Tape.

Warranty: Electro-Cap's limited warranty provides for repair or replacement of any item that, due to defects in materials or workmanship, fails to function properly within ninety (90) days from receipt.
Repairs: Following the warranty period, there will be a nominal charge for repair of Electro-Caps and Electrode Board Adapters. Broken wires at the mount, inside the cap or at the connector plugs, connectors and electrode mounts are considered repairable. If malfunctions are experienced, the cap or Electrode Board Adapter can be returned to Electro-Cap International, Inc. for evaluation and repair. Normally the items will be repaired and shipped within 48 hours from receipt. Please contact EEG Sales Customer Support for instructions.
Loaners: If needed, Electro-Caps and Electrode Board Adapters are available for loan during the time required to make the repairs. The only charges for loaners are freight charges if the loaners are returned promptly.
Return Policy: We do not accept returns of Standard Eleoctro Caps. Please be sure you are ordering the correct type and size needed. Remember Standard Caps do not have the inputs for ear clips. If you need ear clip attachments to the cap see the CS Series Caps. Should you experience difficulty with any Electro-Cap product purchased from EEG Sales, please call the Customer Service Department before returning the merchandise. Merchandise will be replaced or credited only after Electro-Cap International Inc.'s and EEG Sales LLC's approval.
